What is TMS THERAPY?

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is an innovative, non-invasive treatment for individuals struggling with conditions such as Depression, Smoking Addiction, and Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). TMS therapy delivers magnetic pulses to stimulate specific brain regions associated with these disorders, aiming to alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being.

At our practice, we tailor TMS therapy to our patient’s unique brain chemistry. We always prioritize patient comfort and safety.

TMS Side Effects

TMS has, in most cases, minimal, temporary side effects.

The most common side effects of this treatment are a passing headache at the treatment site and jaw clenching. We provide a mouthguard to patients who experience this during treatment to alleviate jaw clenching.

A small number of patients experience muscle twitching. scalp sensations or facial twitching.

These side effects usually go away after the first few sessions and can dissipate following adjustments to the helmet’s position and device settings.

Our team will gather all the clinical data in our TMS intake form and submit it to your insurance for approval.
